Infinite Layers
On the one hand, Pislaru has remained true to himself. His occupation with the line runs through his entire oeuvre. On the other hand, his palette of medias and forms of expression has expanded considerably. For the works in the exhibition “Sinopia”, mainly gouache and ink were used. The surfaces of the paintings have become more voluminous, appear more object-like and develop a new presence in the room. They are not made of canvas, but of industrial material.
