Julia Schewalie’s artworks cannot be trusted. They change continuously and know no steady status. Not only do they transform the room in which they are hanging, but they also incessantly transform themselves as well as the person reflected in their material images. On the one hand, this has to do with the light situation of the respective room, on the other hand with the location of the viewer.
