Kyoung Jae Cho
In the work of South Korean artist Kyoung Jae Cho (*1979), the image becomes space and the space becomes the image. For his photographs, the artist builds abstract installations from various materials. In turn, he integrates his images into spatial installations, which are also composed of various objects. The space of the installation merges with the spaces depicted in the pictures, so that the viewer has the opportunity to experience the artist’s world of images from inside and outside.
We’re looking forward to show KJ’s work from 18th January at Schierke Seinecke.
The opening reception will take place on Thursday, 17th January from 7-9pm.
